A welcome to country was given by Trish White before Liz Rankin gave a tear jerking speech about her journey with cancer.
The day was officially opened by Warren and Junette Harris who cut the ribbon before the first lap was taken by survivors and carers.
Everybody dressed to this years theme of Pirates of the Eurobodalla and enjoyed running, walking, jogging and skipping laps with friends and family.
The weather did not deter anyone, with a further 77 registrations being taken before 12.00.
A total of $49,374 has been raised so far, with fundraisers and raffles still underway during the 24-hour event.
