1. Moruya Youth Week Skate Competition
Enter and show your skills at the Youth Week Skate comp, with DJ, food, prizes and health service info. Age level categories and pro skate demos.
The free competition will be held Saturday, April 12 from 10am to 3pm at the Moruya Skate Park, Shore Street Moruya.
The comp is open to anyone keen to show their skills - whether on skateboard, scooter or BMX.
2. Art on the path
Art and social history lovers will enjoy Art on the Path at Broulee on Sunday, April 13, where you can discover art inspired by the ocean, created from recycled materials and produced locally.
Art on the Path is open from 8am until noon on the shared cycleway near the corner of Smith St and Grant St Broulee.
The Nature Coast Marine Group (NCMG) stall will feature an activity sure to please children as well as adults, says NCMG president Jenny Edwards.
3. Discover marine life
You can find out what’s living under the wharf at Narooma on Tuesday, April 15 from 9am to 10.30am.
Staff from the Marine Park, council and Nature Coast Marine Group volunteers will temporarily relocate some of the interesting creatures that live near the wharf to tanks on the walkway.
“This was very popular in January,” Nature Coast Marine Group president Jenny Edwards said.
“People loved getting a close look at the animals, handling some, and learning new things about the local marine life.”
4. Japanese storytelling and origami
Experience traditional Japanese storytelling, 'Kamishibai' and origami, the art of paper folding at Eurobodalla libraries.
Educator, Mayumi enjoys sharing her Japanese culture with people of all ages. In Japan, origami is a strong tradition that has been practised for centuries, transforming flat pieces of paper into sculpture.
Children will love creating something out of virtually nothing, using only their hands as tools. Each child will make origami animal finger puppets on the day.
This activity is best suited to children of Primary School age.
It will be held at Narooma Library on Tuesday, April 15 from 2.30pm, Batemans Bay Library on Wednesday, April 16 at 10.30am, and Moruya Library on Wednesday, April 16 from 3pm.
5. Surf education and awareness
Learn how to spot a rip and how to survive a rip in a free practical and theoretical program for adults to teach you how to survive in the surf.
The workshop will be held at Broulee Beach (meet at the Surf Club) on Wednesday, April 16 at 9am.

6. Photography on show
Rog Fryer’s Deua River photographic exhibition at Moruya which explores the people and places that carved a life in the bush between pioneering times and the 1980s.
The exhibition opens 5pm Thursday, April 17 and continues until April 19 from 10am to 4pm at The Mechanics Institute, Page St, Moruya.
7. Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens fair
The annual Giant Plant Sale and Easter Fair at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens will please plant lovers and those after some traditional Easter egg fun.
The Easter Bilby might even make an appearance.
The event will be held at the Gardens on Saturday, April 19 from 10 am to 2pm.
8. Go exploring at Cullendulla Creek
On Wednesday, April 23 from 9am to 11am there will be a guided tour to Cullendulla Creek, a hidden gem near Batemans Bay.
The walk is only suitable for adults and children five years or older.

9. Broulee rock walk
On Saturday, April 26 meet some of the amazing creatures that cling to rock pools at Broulee.
The free walk will begin from 11am at the Broulee Surf Club. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information phone Jenny Edwards on 4471 5032.
10. Get snap happy
The Live Life in Eurobodalla photographic competition offers $4000 in prizes.
Photographers of all ages and skills, interested in capturing the people, places and activities of Eurobodalla are invited to be part of the Live Life in Eurobodalla Photographic Competition. The competition is open to residents and visitors.
Entries close April 22.
