A South Coast man has pleaded not guilty to a stabbing another man in Batemans Bay in December last year.

Tyron Leslie Hood, 22, who is known to frequent the Batemans Bay area, pleaded not guilty to reckless wounding, but guilty to being in custody of a knife in a public place.
The matter was mentioned in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, May 8, but Hood did not appear. He remains in custody at the South Coast Correctional Centre.
Magistrate Doug Dick made a destruction order for the knife.
Hood’s case was adjourned for Monday, June 5.
