Eurobodalla Shire Councillor Maureen Nathan has been granted leave in advance from four consecutive council meetings scheduled for later this year.
Cr Nathan submitted a request for leave of absence for meetings during the period July 25 to September 26.
The application was taken to the June 27 council meeting where all councillors present voted in favour of the application.
Greens Councillor Patrick McGinlay was absent from the meeting.
Council staff recommended the application to miss the July 25, August 8, September 12 and September 26 meetings be accepted.
“A councillor must apply for leave of absence if such councillor is absent from three consecutive ordinary meetings of council,” council staff said in a report to councillors.
“The request for leave of absence by a Councillor from a meeting should be made in writing to the General Manager.”
