Defence solicitor Adam Sumbak entered a guilty plea for Tyrone Leslie Hood when the matter was mentioned in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, June 5.
Hood initially pleaded not guilty to reckless wounding, but guilty to possessing a knife in a public place.
The court heard the plea was changed on the basis of amended police facts, which would be tendered to the court.
A psychological report will be prepared.
Hood remains in custody at South Coast Correctional Centre.
The matter was adjourned for Monday, July 17.
