Coming down the mad mile on May 23, the Maranatha employee drove into the manure load that covered the Princes Highway, north of Mogo – and lost control of her vehicle.
“I spun around to the other side of the road – I closed my eyes – I thought I was dead,” Ms Williams said.
Ms Williams said the last thing she clearly remembered was driving down the mad mile.
“I have a blank,” she said.
“I must have gone into shock.”
Ms Williams thought she had hit roadworks; but there were no signs.
“Then I hit the shit; you couldn’t see it until you were on it,” she said.
I closed my eyes – I thought I was dead.

Ms Williams next remembers opening her eyes and finding herself facing the wrong direction.
“I was stalled on the edge on the wrong side of the road,” she said.
Luckily the car started.
“I just wanted to get home,” the shaken Mogo woman said.
She greeted her husband with the words: “You will never believe what happened.”
He replied: “What’s that smell?”
Ms Williams said they washed and washed the car, but it still stank (as the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner can confirm).
”It took them all night to clean up the road; that is how bad the stuff was,” Ms Williams said.
“When I went to do my groceries in Moruya, I had about 50 blowflies hovering around my car. People are making quite a joke about it.”
Ms Williams said she reported the incident to police, hoping to prevent further accidents, and warned others on Facebook.
Ms Williams is still trying to piece her accident together.
“I’m handling it well, but I have never had an accident before,” she said.
“I think someone was looking after me that night. It’s not my turn to go yet.”
