The Batemans Bay Seahawks recorded a dominant victory in their return to Hanging Rock over the weekend, but coach Mick Kenny said it was still too early to think about finals or premierships.

The 'Hawks led from start to finish on Saturday in a 13.15 (93) to 1.4 (10) win over the Belconnen Magpies.
The win included a stingy first half from the defence who didn't give up a single scoring shot until the third quarter.
Key forward Brett Garland kicked five goals in the win, while Michael Thane also chipped in with a brace.
Earlier in the day, the reserve-grade side went down to Goulburn by 39 points, while the women got their season kickstarted with a 61-point win over Belconnen.
First-grade coach Mick Kenny said the players were "excited" to play at Hanging Rock again after last week's scheduled opener was cancelled due to rain.
"There was definitely a 'feel' about the day," he said. "We had a good crowd down there from 10am, and all three games were really good games of footy.
"It was good to be back at home on a beautiful day for footy."
Despite his sides lopsided win, Kenny described the performance as "scrappy".
"We were a bit wasteful going forward," he said.

"The midfield stood out for me, they've had a massive start to the year, and they just dominated. Jake Millynn and Patrick Pope in particular were the standouts, they got us repeat entries down there, we were just a bit wasteful in the first half.
"Our defence has traditionally been a strong point, and this year is no exception. We've got some really strong leaders down there, and a really good structure behind the ball.
"That only works if our midfield is winning the ball, which they have been, because that gives the backline an opportunity to set up that structure."
The win continued the Seahawks momentum from a big round one result over ANU, but Kenny said it was "too early" to be thinking about playing finals.
"We've got a big month ahead of us," he said.
"We've got Woden, Googong, ADFA and ANU, all sides looking to press for the Top 4.
"How we come out of those four weeks will tell us a lot about how our season will pan out.
"I'm really looking forward to this weekend against Woden who have started really well with a couple of big wins. If we can get through this week and keep grinding away, we'll see where we're at and we'll reassess from there."
And while Kenny said his side would be "aiming to win the lot", he acknowledged how tough the next month would be.
"I'd be pretty happy to come out of it 3-1," he said.
"2-2 is a pass mark, but I think with the standards we set for ourselves, we're definitely capable of winning them all."
