St Cecilia committee president Chris Heazlewood said they were very disappointed the scholarships had to be cancelled last year due to COVID, but that the committee was working very hard to ensure they are held this year.
"Entrants, once they have made application, will be invited to submit their audition performance electronically using YouTube and the recordings will then be assessed by our adjudicator," Chris said.
"The 12 finalists will perform at the annual concert on Sunday November 22 at St Bernards Church, Batehaven - COVID-permitting."

Classical and contemporary musicians between the ages of 8 and 18 (senior and junior age divisions) are encouraged to enter.
Entrants must live in the municipalities of Eurobodalla, Shoalhaven or Bega.
The total value of the awards is $5700, which makes it one of the most valuable music awards for young people in Australia.
The closing date for applications is Friday, October 22, when guidelines on how to upload recordings will then be given to applicants.
Application forms and further details are available from the St Cecilia website at www.stcecilia.org.au or phone president Chris Heazlewood on 0417 532 358.
