The 30km of Narooma's trails is a tease for mountain bikers, who have been coming to experience the landscape along ridges, through gullies and creek beds.

The Narooma Mountain Bike Club has another 50km of trails planned through state forest, but needs the community to jump on board.
To develop a network of world-class trails, club president Georgie Staley said funds were needed.
The club hoped to secure the government's Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Grant to support the multi-million dollar project.
Ms Staley said the town needed this project after missing out on tourism numbers during the bushfires and border closures amid pandemic.
"Now more than ever, it's evident we need another tourism driver after this latest event which has caused a mass exodus from our tourists in the height of tourism season," she said.
Like most along the coast, tourism and hospitality businesses of Narooma rely on the Summer trade. Ms Staley said a world-class trails network would attract people all-year round.
"We can't rely on January being our saviour," she said.
"Working with mountain bike clubs of Tathra, Eden and Cooma, we can together draw people to the area so we have income all-year round rather than three months of the year."
Ms Staley said stage one of the trails network "exploded" since its opening in November.
"There's about 20-30 people using it every day - which is becoming more and more," she said.
"There's currently 30km of trail which isn't what usually attracts people to an area - we need the 90kms."
Ms Staley said the grant was "hugely competitive". To help secure funding for the final stages, the Narooma Mountain Bike Club created a petition.

"The community deserves this grant and is worth it, but we need support," she said.
Throughout January, the club is offering coaching clinics with former Australian downhill team member Brent Smith. To sign up for a session, visit the Mountain Bike Narooma website or Facebook Page.
