Fifty-six players teed off in this mornings 2 Person Irish Team Stableford event. Winners on the day were Julie Barningham and Warren Hodder with a great team score of 40 points for the 9 holes played. Congratulations to them both. They were followed home by the teams of Tony Crook and Solveig Olsson on 38, Chris and Ian Wratten on 33 and Derek Hoare and Greg Ware on 33, with the former beating the latter on count back.
Balls or chocolates were won by Shirley and Ted Quinlan, Jeanette Miller and Andrew Gordon, and Ross Hendy and Noel Fletcher all on 32, followed by the teams of Ross Davidson and Neil Mather, and Annette and Ian Manton on 31. This week's infamous Bradman award was taken out by the pairing of Paul Rowe and Greg Thornton, whilst nearest the pins went to Andrew Gordon on both the 4th and 6th holes, and to Annette Manton and Steve Gardner on the 7th. Blaise Madden won the Accuracy drive award on the 5th.

Tuross Head Country Club men's golf Saturday November 9.
David Gray was the winner of the Tuross Head men's Saturday stableford competition this week with a round of 40 points. David edged out Brenden Taylor, who finished second, on a countback.
Well known district golfer Colin Houghton filled third place with 39 points with Peter Garn, who also scored 39 points and Tony Brown 38 points taking out the remaining award positions.
Balls were distributed down to 34 points.
Nearest the pins were won by A grade division golfers:
Frank Pomfret on the 4th hole with 2.54m.
Colin Houghton was closest on the 6th with 1.49m and C. Rowe won the 7th with 83 centimetres.
B grade player Ron Rogers won the 4th hole with 3.94m and John Phyland won the 7th with 1.69m.
C grader Mike Allen was best on the 4th hole with 4.3m.
Lance Shadbolt won the 6th with 87 centimetres and John Englitis the 7th with 3.6m.
Thursday's medley stableford competition was won Jim Wade with a high score of 43 stableford points ahead of Desmond Jackson and Paul Rowe who both scored 40 points.
Graeme Sindel with 39 points received the remaining award.
Balls were awarded down to 36 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Bob Hay, Martin Booth and Ian McManus.

Moruya Women
Perfect weather conditions saw 27 Moruya Women Golfers play their 4th Hamper Stableford Round on Wednesday 13th November.
Congratulations go to Div. 1's Collette Blacklock who was in great form scoring an outstanding 37 nett. Runner-up Jenny Ellis was also on her game coming in with 34 nett.
Div. 2 winner's excelled themselves by also having outstanding games. Shirley Noy took the lead from runner-up Barbara Roberts with a nett 37 on C/B.
Nearest the Pin winners were Lyn Gibbs on the 5th and Noelene Cowdroy on the 6th holes.
Samantha Dryden "let it fly" again achieving the longest drive in Div.2.
Narooma
SATURDAY 8th NOVEMBER: A capacity field of 212 players took to the course for the 2019 Narooma Open. A Grade gross was taken out by Narooma's Jordan Lang with 69 ahead of Steven Bricknell from Goulburn who edged out Beau Callaway from The Grange on countback with 76. Alan Butterworth from Coolamatong took out the nett with 67 off his handicap of 5, with Luke Rich from The Grange in second place with 72 on countback again from the luckless Beau Callaway. In the B Grade gross Brad Porter from Yass took the honours with 77 ahead of Narooma's Shaun Martyn on 79.The net was won by Jim Jones from Catalina with 71 followed by Don McKinnon from Monash on 73. In the C Grade gross Khan Le from Murrumbidgee was a clear winner with 83, followed by James Byrne from Yass on 87. The net was taken out by Brian MacKenzie from Palm Meadows with 70, one better than Geoff Johnstone from Howlong.
SUNDAY 9th NOVEMBER: The second day's play was again dominated by strong winds. In A Grade Alan Wilder from Young won the gross with 70, one better than Narooma's Jordan Lang, while Anthony Cooper from Long Reef took out the nett with 71, while Colin Lamb from Bermagui filled second place with 73 on countback from Ross McLoughlin from Gungahlin Lakes and Dat Huynh from Murrumbidgee. Ray McAvoy from Murrumbidgee finished on top in the B Grade gross with 79 on countback from Brent Chalker from Queanbeyan. In the nett Luke Warrener from Murrumbidgee had the best nett score of the day with 66, ahead of Gerringong's Luke Richards on 69. The C Grade gross was taken out by Pino D'Arro from Links Shell Cove with 85 ahead of Tony Aleksovski from Gungahlin Lakes who edged out Gordon Haughie from RMC on countback with 85. The nett was won by Andrew Wise from Boomerang with 72, followed by Barry Wynd from Thurgoona on 73 on countback from the luckless Gordon Haughie.
The winner of the 2019 Narooma Open is local Jordan Lang with an outstanding score of 140, 4 under par, thereby capping a stellar year with victories in the Club Championship, the Seahorse Classic and now the Open. Runner-up with 152 was Ross McLoughlin from Gungahlin Lakes. The nett was won by Anthony Cooper from Long Reef with 144 ahead of Alan Butterworth from Coolamatong on 148.The B Grade gross winner was Brad Porter from Yass with 159 ahead of Queanbeyan's Brent Chalker on 163, while Luke Warrener from Murrumbidgee finished on top in the nett with 141 ahead of Don McKinnon from Monash on 144.
