Inspired by the Moruya Street Kitchen, Clare Lovelace has organised the volunteer-led street kitchen at the Batemans Bay Community Centre.
The next street kitchen will take place at 1.30pm on October 12.
Ms Lovelace urged those in need to come along to the safe space. Food, clothes, toys, blankets and more are available.
She said 50 volunteers had already put up their hand, and she encouraged businesses and individuals to get involved and run one street kitchen a year.
"We have a large community of volunteers who will be helping on the day, cooking food, serving and donating clothes, toys, blankets and anything else of need," Ms Lovelace said.
She hopes in addition to the street kitchen, people can also stop food waste in the Eurobodalla Shire.
"This will be a waste and plastic-free event, and we are hoping to combat food waste by asking local supermarkets and cafes to donate any good quality food that may otherwise be wasted," she said.
With the idea was modelled on food rescue charity OzHarvest, Ms Lovelace hoped to persuade Batemans Bay supermarkets, restaurants or cafes to donate food to the street kitchen.
Ms Lovelace also runs a free community class at her yoga studio every Wednesday from 11.30am.
