The service showed respect to Indigenous country men and women with a playing of the didgeridoo by Roderick Slockee and the ode read in Dhurga by Trish Ellis.
The playing was followed by a laying of wreaths, the hymn "Abide With Me", the prayer of thanksgiving, prayer for the nation and hymn "Lead Kindly Light". The Last Post was played and New Zealand and Australian national anthems sung.
Current and retired service men and women were in attendance, as well as family members of those who served, school students and Moruya residents.
The Moruya Anzac march will commence at 11am, along the Princess Highway from Shore Street to Mirabooka Avenue to the Memorial Hall in Page Street, where the service will be held.
