The 27-day escorted cruise adventure departs January 29, 2020. The amazing tour begins in Argentina's capital Buenos Aires.

The group will travel down 9 de Julio Avenue, one of the world's widest streets, and pass the famous Colon Opera House and the Obelisk. It will visit La Boca, famous for its colourful houses, tango-dancing and football team; the Palermo Chico, where you'll find cafes, bars, galleries, shops and markets; and Eva Peron's tomb.

After exploring Uruguay's capital Montevideo, the ship will dock at Puerto Madryn in Patagonia.

Renowned for its natural beauty, Patagonia is home to vast plains, forests, lakes, snow-capped mountains, ocean shores and glaciers. Travellers will visit Peninsula Valdes, a wildlife sanctuary for birds and marine species including rheas, flamingos, egrets, whales, elephant seals and sea lions.

The tour then sets course for the Falkland Islands and its capital, Stanley. The quaint seaside town is dotted with colourfully painted houses, small shops and restaurants and a truly unique scenic landscape. As the ship ventures further south, it will begin to pass icebergs in the Antarctic Sound.

There will be stunning scenery and wildlife, including terns, petrels and gulls. Passengers will also see some of the 6500 pairs of gentoo penguins as the ship passes by Cuverville Island.

Then it's back to South America, sailing past Cape Horn to dock in Ushuaia, Argentina, the city at the bottom of the world. Then it's onwards to Chile.

The group will visit the country's most southerly city, Punta Arenas, sight the Amalia Glacier in the Southern Patagonian Ice Fields, and Puerto Montt before docking in the final port of Santiago.

Places to be visited include Santiago's Civic Centre, La Moneda Presidential Palace, the Plaza de Armas, the main square and the Bellavista district, home to many of Santiago's artisans, that is lined with galleries, open-air cafes and restaurants.

There's also a pre-cruise option taking in Brazil and Argentina, and a post-cruise option to visit Peru.
