Others pulled out ponchos and didn't let the rain dampen their spirits in Mackay Park.
The legendary John Farnham headlined Red Hot Summer Tour, with special guests Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, Thirsty Merc, Dragon and Taylor Sheridan backing him up.

Thirsty Merc pleased the crowd with a number of their classic hits.
There were poignant moments too.
A group of friends dedicated this year's tour to their beloved friend, Kerrie Lonard, who passed away last year.
The group said she went to the festival every year, loved the concert and brought everyone together.
