Fans were clearly ready for the long haul, streaming to the Mackay Park event all afternoon, carrying chairs and picnic rugs.

The sun shone and the music played into the night as acts such as Suzie Quatro, The Angels, The Screaming Jets, Chocolate Starfish, Baby Animals, Moving Pictures got dancers up on their feet.
