The draft Eurobodalla Tourism Wayfinding and Signage Strategy provides a framework for decisions on the location and style of future tourism signage.
It is limited to tourism-related signs for visitors travelling in vehicles to find their way safely and efficiently to attractions. It does not apply to pedestrians, signage at destinations, private/commercial signs, business identification signs or advertising.

The strategy includes principles and guidelines for choosing the right signage for particular circumstances, for locating signs and guidance for its implementation. The design and style of signage will be developed later this year. Once the strategy is adopted, signage would be rolled out across the shire subject to funding.
The strategy is available at: www.esc.nsw.gov.au/publicexhibition or in hard copy at the Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma libraries. Submissions close Wednesday October 31.
