The day started with the U15s 13-kilometre race with 13-year-old Christopher being narrowly beaten to take out second place.
Sixteen year old Jack 'The Machine' McFarlane competed in the open men's 75-kilometre race. Unfortunately, Jack was involved in an accident at the start of the race when he was taken out by another two riders. Although this put Jack to the back of the pack it didn't dampen his enthusiasm and he got back on his bike, finishing the race in 11th place in the category.
Nicholas tackled the 25-kilometre race, coming third in the under 17s category by less than half a bike length to second place. Nicholas' great ride saw him come in twelfth out of all male riders, a fantastic effort.
The boys are looking forward to next years event and tackling the great tracks at Willo.
