The French-born teenager will attend the French-language business school HEC Montréal for the first semester of 2018.
“I am super excited to have been accepted into HEC Montreal to study a Bachelor of Business Administration,” Pauline said.
“This is a global exchange program organised by the ANU which gives a number of students the opportunity to go to one of the 170 partner universities around the world and study for a semester as part of their degree.
“I am so thankful that I am one of those lucky students who were given this opportunity.”
Pauline leaves for Canada in December.
“Although I am a bit nervous, I am mostly very excited,” she said.
“I’m hoping to make incredible friendships and have an amazing experience.
“I decided to do this because I love travelling, I love meeting new people and mostly I love throwing myself challenges.
“I think it’s important to always test your limits and really make the most of every opportunity you get given, because life is too short to have regrets.
“ANU is great for encouraging students to do exactly that and I have also been lucky to be surrounded by very supportive family and friends who have encouraged me to push my boundaries.”
Pauline moved to Australia from France several years ago with parents Sylvie and Pascal.
“I really look forward to seeing what the culture and university is like in Canada,” she said.
“I will be studying management and marketing courses both in French and English.
“I’m hoping to really get involved in the community life. both of the city of Montreal, but also of the university.
“I expect this experience will allow me to be more independent and open-minded to new things.
“I look forward to coming back to Australia in May with many stories to tell and many new memories.”
