CLOSE to 300 swimmers will take the plunge in the 1.4km Bay to Breakers swim at South Broulee on Sunday.

The joint fundraising event, hosted by Broulee Surfers Surf Life Saving Club and Broulee Mossy Point Community Association, attracts entrants from the Eurobodalla, South Coast and Canberra.
Swimmers set out from Shark Bay at Broulee Island and swim around the headland before a run up the beach at South Broulee.
Racing will begin at 9am with the over 20s and over 50s and five minutes later the over 30s and over 40s will hit the water.
The over 60s, under 16s and under 20s will dive in at 9.10am.
The main event is the open swim and will start at 10am.
There will be a water safety team monitoring the races and cash prizes for the fastest swimmer in each age division.
