Southern Eurobodalla Black faced Bega/Angledale at Bega Athletics Field and made a steady start batting first.
Liam Sweeney top-scored for Black and was well supported by Connor Breust (24), who scored a number of boundaries, and Lachlan Bice (11).
Four run outs proved costly to Southern Eurobodalla as it was bowled out for 118 after 23 overs.
Bega/Angledale struggled early against some good bowling as Lawrence Silvakuma removed opener Mitchell Jessop (6) and first drop Nathaniel Raatz (5).
Bega/Angledale was not troubled after the early wickets and reached the target after 18 overs.
Silvakuma finished with figures of 3/18 and Connor Breust with 1/10.
This Saturday Southern Eurobodalla Black faces Merimbula Blue at Dalmeny Oval, starting at 8.30am.
Southern Eurobodalla Red lined up against the ladder-leaders, Pambula, at Dickinson Oval, Bermagui.
Pambula won the toss and elected to bat and amassed 6/111 of 24 overs.
Aaron Bennett (2/16), Lachlan Brennan (1/5), Theo Turner (1/18) and Jack Hyndes (1/18) were Southern Eurobodalla’s wicket-takers.
In reply, the Red side had to fight its way to the target against some tight and hostile Pambula bowling.
Red reached the target at the end of the 24th over to secure the win.
Best with the bat were Brennan (27), Turner (24 not out), Hyndes (16) and Josh Piper (16).
This Saturday, Southern Eurobodalla Red faces Merimbula Red at Dickinson Oval.
