Eighteen students studying sport performance and energy systems did a variety of fitness tests to measure their height, flexibility, agility, power, strength and aerobic endurance using the academy’s fitness testing equipment.
The session served as an introduction to the practical application of fitness testing and factors affecting human performance.
The visit was conducted by the academy’s athlete performance specialist, Courtney Porter, with assistance from SERAS student interns Scott Reaper, Beth Taylor, Kate Woolfe and Katrina Mason from the University of Canberra.
