Danny Scott-Busch, who plays and referees in the Bay competition, has organised to open up the stadium every Thursday night over the next seven weeks for friendly games.
“We’ll open the courts at 6pm each Thursday night and we’ll just play with whoever turns up,” he said.
“All we ask for is $5 per player.”
Scott-Busch said it would be a great chance for people to keep fit and ensure their skills didn’t go a bit rusty over the holiday season.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to come down,” he said.
“It will be a friendly atmosphere and you don’t have to be in a team to come down and join in. It’s open to everybody.”
The Hanging Rock basketball stadium is located on Beach Road, next to the library.
