It's roomier than most, more compact, sexier (it's black), and unlike most reusable bags on sale, every time you buy one you make a 50 cent donation to local schools.
The bags are a joint initiative between Make it Moruya and Eurobodalla Shire Council, and will be launched at the An Inconvenient Busk 07 busking competition in September.
Council waste minimisation officer Sarah Davison said the bags were bought in bulk by council, so small stores could sell them competitively against Woolworths and Coles reusable bags.
While Ms Davison didn't expect people to completely shun plastic bags in favour of the Eurobag, she said a small change of just one less plastic bag per person, per year could make a big difference.
She reiterated the message printed on the bags.
"If everyone in the Eurobodalla uses 52 less plastic bags a year over 1.8 million bags will be saved," Ms Davison said.
"Just think of the contribution you are making when you use the bag two, three or seven times a week."
Moruya businessman Texas Dave, of Planet-TX, has pledged to sell the Eurobag.
"We get people that won't take the plastic bag out of principal, but we'll definitely be able to sell these," he said.
The bags will cost $2.
