“Last year we bought a great sound system for the school hall, and 10 bikes for sport, so we have spent a lot of money, and we need to get some back,” P and C president Katrina Scobie said.
“We haven’t had a fundraiser for six years.
“We also want to bring the community into the school.”
The Eurobodalla community has donated over $1000 worth of goods to be auctioned at the trivia night, which will be held at the school hall on Saturday, August 27.
The rest will be raised through ticket sales, $15 per person, which includes a light supper from the canteen, and a raffle, with tickets for sale at the door.
“There will also be games and snacks and drinks for sale, so bring lots of cash,” Ms Scobie said.
The donated goods include a painting by Eurobodalla artist Ritchie Sealy, a plate from Bingie Pottery and a new vintage-style bike donated by Steve Mason of Ray White Batehaven.
The MC will be Mossy Point ‘slam poet’ Anthony Mayne.
“He will be very entertaining,” Ms Scobie said.
The start time is 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
“Come and enjoy the night with the students and school community and support public education,” Mr Mayne said.
