"Being towards the end of the outgoing tide and with no wind the ducks stayed on course this year resulting in a more orderly race," Duck Race Committee member Mike Young said, adding some got stuck behind training walls last year.
The winning duck was 857 with ticket holder and committee member Julie Hartley donating the $1000 prize to the Tonga Disaster Appeal.
Clare Giffen scored a $100 prize with her duck 267 finishing last.
Narooma Rotary President Andrew Lawson thanked everyone who made the Duck Race such a fun event.
Proceeds this year will mainly go towards the recently formed Narooma Prostate Cancer Support Group and Prostate Cancer research, with a donation to Bermagui CRABS (Cancer Research Advocate Bikers).
A donation bucket for the Tonga Disaster Appeal also raised $216 on the morning.
