Wet weather was the order of the day for the majority of senior Shoalhaven District Cricket Association players during round two, with nine out of the 11 scheduled matches ending in a draw due to the rain.

Included in that was Saturday's two first grade fixtures between Ulladulla United and Bomaderry at Lighthouse Oval and North Nowra-Cambewarra and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads at the Bernie Regan Sports Complex, as well as all three second grade matches.
In third grade, the game between Berry and Norths at Vic Zealand Oval went ahead, with the hosts winning the toss and electing to bat first.
Behind knocks from Mathew Griffith (60), Ethan Cain (33) and Patrick Higgins (25), the Magpies posted 8-157 from their 40 overs.
With the red ball, Dylan Higgins (3-27) and Lachlan Almond (2-17) took multiple wickets for Norths - with Shawn Higgins and Graham Lowbridge taking 1-14 and 1-29 respectively.
In reply, Norths, despite losing Alex Parsons early for just six, cruised to victory - reaching 5-158 with 11 balls to spare.
Leading the charge was Almond, who hit four boundaries and one six on his way to a match-winning 49.
He was well supported by Shawn Higgins (26 not out) and Elijah Guyatt (21) in the win.
The other third grade match between Batemans Bay and Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens at Hanging Rock Oval was washed out, with Bomaderry having the bye.
In fourth grade, Ulladulla fixture with Norths at Lighthouse Oval was washed out, as Bay and Basin and Sussex Inlet both chalked up impressive road wins.
At South Nowra Oval, Ex-Servos won the toss and sent Sussex to the crease, where they made 5-243 from their 40 overs.
Glenn Hayek spearheaded the innings with 73 not out, with Mitchell Ireland (53) and Dale Jarrett (37) chipping in with handy knocks.
Tor Janes (2-38) was the only multiple wicket-taker for the hosts.
In response, Ex-Servos were all out for just 74 in the 23rd over, despite Nash Connell's 20 and Janes' 18.
Stephen Jones was the chief destroyer for Sussex, taking 5-24 from his six overs, while teammate Martyn Davis claimed 3-7.
At Zealand Oval, Berry chose to bat first against the Basin and posted 137 from 37.1 overs thanks to 37 not out from Ted Street.
John White took 3-10 for Basin as teammates Michael Dolby and Nicholas Walter secured 2-13 and 2-30 respectively.
The Dolphins' openers made light work of the chase though, with Stuart Dryburgh's 51 not out and Jack Allen's 32 steering them to 3-128 in the 23rd over.
Dino Dicembre was Berry's standout bowler with 2-22 in the loss.
