'We are ready for the gunnas'
The old Liberal guard of Gilmore has risen for over 20 years. Pre COVID we saw the closure of the paper mill, rubber factory, Nowra mail centre, unemployment a disaster and a money drought with many shops closed.
Three public hospitals under stress with no MRI, no major infrastructure like the Nowra bypass, except for Mainroad 92, or new hospital for the South Coast electorate.
But with the Lions Club and the Rudd government came the Cancer Centre at Nowra and the GP Super Clinic which is now defunct from its original charter and now we have a captain's pick again.
A Minister for Transport who sent NSW jobs overseas - trains/ferries/buses wasted billions on Sydney transport while in Gilmore people suffer with public transport from Kiama to Bega rail/bus etc all because Gilmore was listed as a safe Liberal seat. But no more!
We are ready for the gunnas and the fake news to come. Nowra bridge is only a replacement for the old bridge not new infrastructure.

Just get vaccinated
A national mandate should have been put in place a long time ago as soon as supplies of vaccine were made available.
No if, buts about it and we wouldn't be in this avoidable mess today. All these anti vaxers, anti this, anti that and other groups who think they have the right to say no to vaccinate, their law is not above the law of the land. They do not have the right to go into the market place infecting and endangering their communities lives or even causing death. Breaching the rules, breaking the law is a criminal offence and punishable by law. Governments must start talking tough to these offenders.
I'm 86 and very scared of needles, but I bit the bullet and had my first shot, soon to get my second. I did the right thing for myself, my family and my community. I say to all those "anti's", stop complaining, and get the jab before the virus gets you!
