Under plans lodged with Eurobodalla Shire Council last month, and currently on public exhibition until October 11, applicants Coe Planning Services would build a six-unit apartment building on Golf Links Drive, Batemans Bay.
The $1.7 million plans would see an existing double-storey house on the site demolished to make way for a new three-storey building.
All apartments would be on the upper two storeys, while the ground floor would house eight car parking spaces, including two disabled parking spaces.
Both the first and second floors would house two one-bedroom apartments and a two-bedroom apartment.

A planner from Coe Planning Services said the proposed development was in the public interest.
"There is an overwhelming drive for urban consolidation and redevelopment of existing urban areas in a raft of strategic planning documents which have application to the Batemans Bay area," they said.
"Such documents include the NSW South Coast Regional Strategy, the NSW South Cost Settlement Planning Guidelines, and the Eurobodalla Settlement Strategy.
"All of these documents identify a need for an increase in the provision of alternate forms of housing different to conventional free standing homes on individual parcels of land to meet the needs of a growing local population.
"There is an identified need for medium density and residential apartment developments to diversity the current housing mix."
The planner said the proposal was consistent with the council's Development Control Plan and Codes, and was worthy of approval.
"The proposal is consistent with the desired future character for the site, has appropriate bulk and scale and density, and provides six new residential apartments contributing to the housing stock and diversity within Batemans Bay," they said.
Plans for the apartments can be viewed on Council's website. Submission on the proposal are open until October 11.
