At 16-6, Sunday's Indigenous Round clash between the Batemans Bay Tigers and Bega Roosters was on a knife's edge when Roosters' speedster Zach Cuzner found free space down the right edge.

It was the perfect time for young Tigers' half Jacob Bradbury to come up with a huge chasedown tackle, one of the key plays in Batemans Bay's 28-6 win.
Bradbury showed off his pace in stopping Cuzner less than 10 metres from the tryline, and the Roosters blew a chance on the left wing on the following play to snuff out their last chance to get back into the game.
On a special day for the club, one where they were led onto the field by Terry 'Nipper' Parsons, the first-grade side lifted after a disappointing loss to Merimbula-Pambula last weekend.
Bradbury opened the scoring early with a neat dart through the defensive line, a try that was converted for an early 6-0 lead.
The game became a defensive struggle from that point, as the Bay held Bega off on their own tryline several times over the next 15 minutes.
They extended their lead shortly before half time when winger Ryan Foley finished off a sharp short-side raid for a 10-0 lead.
It could have been more at half time, as the Tigers picked off a Roosters' chip-and-chase attempt after the siren, but couldn't finish off the counter attack.
Batemans Bay extended their lead shortly after half-time as Bradbury scooped up a loose ball and raced 60 metres for his second try of the afternoon.
Bega hit back through prop Jordan Gray-Balcomb, and looked certain to make it a one-score game before Bradbury's heroic chasedown tackle on Zach Cuzner.
The Tigers took over from that point, with lock forward Bradley Martin causing havoc up the middle of the ruck and torching the tired Roosters defence.
Jordan Terare scored the sealer to make it 22-6, and another late try pushed the score out to the final of 28-6.
The win means the Tigers are still a mathematical chance of playing finals football this season, but would need to win their next three games against the Tathra Sea Eagles, Narooma Devils, and Moruya Sharks while having other results go their way.
They start the stretch with a trip to Tathra next weekend to take on the fourth-placed Sea Eagles.
