More than 2000 people and 400 horses poured into Bawley Point over the weekend to watch as the 2021 Volkswagen World Championship Gold Buckle was held at Willinga Park.

The event kicked off on Thursday, May 13 and saw 27 qualifiers headed into the final on Saturday, May 15.
Huge crowds watched on as Michael Hiscock on Mewburn Tip Top took out top spot and $100,000. Michael had two excellent rounds, with a semifinal score of 91 backed up by a finals score of 90.33.
His aggregate score of 181.33 points made the Victorian dairy farmer and horse trainer this year's winner.
The action was followed up by the State of Origin campdraft, taken out by Team NSW. Congratulations to Troy Palmer, Sarah Cookson and Hugh Miles on their winning run.
With tickets selling out, bus tours being snapped up and plenty of fun to be had, the countdown is already on to the 2022 World Championship Gold Buckle.
