Ex-Servos, in this two-day Shoalhaven District Cricket Association first grade match, was chasing the 160 runs North Nowra Cambewarra had made the weekend before.
With Daniel Gleeson in an aggressive mood and Mathew Ganderton holding up the other end, Ex-Servos got off to a steady start.
However, the cracks started to appear when Ganderton was dismissed with the total on 28 runs.
He was soon joined in the pavilion by Gleeson when the total had clicked over to be 47 runs.
It's a shame Gleeson got out because he was looking pretty good.
Gleeson's 28 runs included three fours and a maximum.
Nathan Tyrrell 20 runs with four boundaries, Graham Phillis 20 runs with three boundaries and Daniel Kelleher 15 runs with a six all got out when their digs were starting to flourish.
Justin Weller and Colin Searson helped bowl Norths to victory by bagging four-wicket haul.
With a bit of time before stumps, Norths had a second bat and made 3/120 before time was called.
Hyeon Parsons and Nathan Thomas took the opportunity to make half-centuries.
Thomas made 58 runs and Parsons' 55 runs included three boundaries and a six.
Meanwhile, Batemans Bay turned its first innings domination over Nowra into an outright victory on Saturday at Hanging Rock.
The Bay, at stumps last weekend, had claimed the first innings points in this two-day Shoalhaven District Cricket Association first grade match.
When the match continued on Saturday [December 12], the Bay continued to inflict pain on Nowra.
Nowra last weekend was rolled for just 58 runs and the Bay, at stumps last weekend, was 9-85.
Darcy Knight topped scored for the Bay with 33 runs and tailender Mick Smart was next best with 31 runs.
Peter King took five wickets for Nowra and Kealen Blattner picked up three.
Nowra, in the second innings, was thankful that Brad Field turned up to play.
Field belted 92 runs as Nowra put a triple-figure score on the board.
Nowra's second innings total of 142 runs was competitive at least.
Knight once again proved to be Nowra's nemesis and he picked up six wickets, while James Dickinson grabbed three.
The result, if the Bay was chasing a bigger total, could have been different as the home side just did enough to get the outright win.
The Bay's unconvincing 8/79 in the second innings got them the prized outright win.
Sam Lee top-scored for the Bay with 20 runs and Ryan Hall made 16 runs.
Matthew Junk and Blattner were the only two bowlers used by Nowra and they both took four wickets.
