Police said a 40-year-old male driver of a Ford Falcon was charged with high-range drink driving after an alleged hit and run on George Bass Drive, on Tuesday, November 3.

A police spokesman said two vehicles collided at about 7.20pm near the roundabout at Sunshine Bay.
Police said one driver continued driving and had pulled over near Towrang Avenue, on George Bass Drive, Surf Beach.
Police were contacted and breath tested the driver who was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station.
Police said the Malua Bay man was charged with drink driving three times over the legal limit.
His license was suspended and he was due to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on November 9.
A wallet and contents were stolen from a Toyota Rav 4 parked at Durras Lake Road, South Durras on Wednesday, November 4.
A police spokesman said the motor vehicle was ransacked during the morning.
"The wallet consisted of cash and credit cards," the police spokesman said.
"It appears the credit card has been used fraudulently since."

In a separate incident, a vessel moored in the Clyde River off Beach Road, Batemans Bay was also ransacked.
Police said alcohol and three fishing rods were stolen off the vessel at a time between Thursday, October 29, and Sunday, November 1.
Police were investigating.
