"Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the 2020 South Coast Schools Excellence in Vocational Education and Training (VET) Awards were scaled back to an online process," a spokesperson said.
"Unfortunately there was no award function this year.
"The Awards showcase the many talented HSC students the region is producing.
"To be eligible students are nominated by their school, TAFE, EVET or local employers who have hosted the students on industry work placement. The students nominated are undertaking Vocational Education and Training courses at all the high schools across the South Coast, TAFE and EVET.
The Judges' Award went to Hailie Hill - Batemans Bay High School - Hospitality.
This year the Outstanding Student of the Year award was shared between:
Ryley Spoelder-Hanlon - Moruya High School - Construction
Luke Ryan - St Peter's Anglican College - School Based Apprentice.
Other nominees are pictured in our gallery above.
Workplace Learning and the NSW Department of Education thanked participating workplaces including Harvey Norman, Eurobodalla Shire Council and Alpha Computing.
