Happy birthday to the Broulee hunk John Meyer, I hope Nicole made you a beautiful cake, John.
Wow, what wild weather we are having folks, stay safe and be nice to each other.
Walter Thomasson, worker extraordinaire at Maranatha Nursing home, celebrated his birthday last Tuesday.
Walter is a well-loved member of the Batemans Bay community, so I know he would have been inundated with good wishes.
Also celebrating her birthday this week, Roze Kolbe.
I hope you had a great day Roze.
Francine Favetta has suggested we all grab a large bag and head to our favourite beach and have a clean up. Let's do it! Great idea Francine, let's keep Eurobodalla beaches pristine!
Debbie Jones and I had three days at The Tuross Beach Caravan Park.
We were amazed at how beautiful Tuross is.
It was my family's "go-to" place for picnics and a surf, along with Potato Point, back in the 50s but even I did not realise what a beautiful place it was.
The geography of the shoreline is simply amazing.
Enormous rocks, brown sugar sand and wonderful walks.
If you don't have anything else planned next week, why not take yourself off to Tuross Head with a picnic or grab some fish and chips from the Boatshed and take in what the gorgeous Eurobodalla coast has to offer.
Fartled., (fart-ld) adj, to be startled by a loud fart!'
With the big seas and high winter tides, a lot of rubbish has been washing up on our beautiful beaches.
Francine Favetta has suggested we all grab a large bag and head to our favourite beach and have a clean up.
Let's do it! Great idea Francine, let's keep Eurobodalla beaches pristine!
Happy 60th birthday to gorgeous Kim Ward from Tomakin.
Her hubby took her to Bannisters by The Sea at Mollymook to celebrate, so she is one lucky lady!
Jenny Scott took off with neighbours, Lee Marks and Eunice Strong and had a lovely picnic last week.
On a lovely sunny day, they went for a Cooks Tour around Surfside, then Maloneys Beach, where they had a picnic at the reserve, then came back to Long Beach and enjoyed a long walk.
Joy Dillon was enjoying nature's display of rain, wind, rain and more wind this week when she witnessed a riverboat flip over and sink in the Clyde River near Nelligen. Joy said it all happened very suddenly.
Stay calm and mask on!
