PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Club) and the NSW Police have partnered in the program with the aim to empower young people and reduce youth crime and anti-social behaviour.
Far South Coast PCYC manager Peter Cross said archery was a great activity for all ages and it was easy to learn the basics.
The archer must concentrate and develop their skills to hit bulls-eye.
"It is also a relaxing activity," Mr Cross said. "You would be surprised how quiet a group of kids are when they are shooting."
Archery was taught at Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma schools once a week during each school term.
In the north, Sunshine Bay Public and Batemans Bay High students participated in the program.
In 2020, PCYC offered archery, boxing fitness and bubble soccer to primary and secondary schools on the Far South Coast.
Mr Cross said PCYC was looking to increase its service delivery, programs and activities on the Far South Coast and was expanding its police-run programs and community programs/activities.
