Tuross Head monthly medal stroke round saw all golfers playing in the three divisions hand in low scoring results of 70 net strokes or better.
Bob Hay was the outright winner in A grade with an excellent 67 net strokes ahead of young star Lachlan Nordsvan who finished with 69.
Allen Gannon filled third placing with 70 net.
B grade player Peter McRae was the best with a net 66 relegating Greg Smith to second place on a countback.
Wayne Fullerton was awarded third placing with 68 strokes.
Graeme Bell led the C grade division with the lowest round of the day with 65 net strokes ahead of David Dow and Michael Allen who both scored 68.
Colin Houghton played the best stroke round with 73 off the stick.
Brad Doolan won the putting competition with 23 putts.
The Golden Shot competition was won by Lachlan Nordsvan with a close second shot of 2.30m on the par 4 second hole.
Balls were awarded down to 74 strokes.
Nearest the pins were won by:
A grade golfer C. Garn on the 4th with 2.05m. B. Taylor with 1.41m on the 6th and C. Houghton with 3.75m on the 7th.
B grade player T. Russel won the 4th with 2.31m. P. Nikolic the 6th with 3.42m and I. Miller the 7th with 2.23m.
C grade best was J. Hillard with 4.20m on the 4th hole and S. Johnston was awarded the 6th hole with 2.76m.
Thursday's medley round was won by Ian Manton with 39 points.
Ian McManus filled second placing on a countback.
Richard Wharton and Dorothy Madden, both on 38 points, filled the remaining positions.
Bruce Lidbury, a long-term club supporter, had the satisfaction of scoring a hole in one on the 6th hole.
Tuross Head Vets
After a lovely bit of rain, Wednesday was a very cool morning for the 58 starters who set out to play in a single stableford event.
The winner was - Ian Manton with 25 points. Second place went to - Kaye Lunt with 23 points. Third place was won by - Greg Bush with 22 points & in third place it was - Barry Hoban also with 22 points.
The Bradmans was awarded to - Len Rogers & the Accuracy drive went to - Shirley Quinlan. Nearest the pins - 4th - Ian Manton (in the hole). 6th - Steve Collins. 7th - Dorothy Madden (in the hole) & Ken Brown.
Ball or Chocolate went to - Steve Collins - 21 points. Dorothy Madden, Enid Bessant- Ryan, Kath Crossling, Chris Wratten, Neil Mather, Geoff Bellingham - 20 points. Solveig Olsson, David Williams, Des Jackson, Tony Crook, Noel Fletcher - 19 points.
Next week will be a special par event.

Moruya Women
Moruya Women Golfer's challenged themselves on Wednesday, 2nd October, when they played in a Gold Medal Playoff.
Prize money of $100 and a trophy for this annual event is donated by local man Geoff Rose as a tribute in memory of his late wife, Ros Rose. Ros was an avid golfer, as well as being a popular and well respected member of the Moruya golfing community. The trophy was presented by Di Smith on behalf of Geoff.
The recipient and worthy winner of this prestigious award was Dee Meek, with a score of 72 nett, who dominated the field of 28 player's throughout.
On Wednesday 9th October, Moruya Women's Golf played a Single Stableford.
Div.1 winner Robyn Hawkins was in great form, scoring a commendable 35 nett. Barbara Swain was runner-up with 33 nett on C/B.Div. 2 winner Judi Hebbard scored a notable 34 nett whilst runner-up Phyllis Reid had 33 nett.
Nearest the Pin winner 's were Val Moore on the 5th, Robyn Hawkins on the 6th and Phyllis Reid on the 12th.
Marilyn Bingham "let it fly" achieving the longest drive in Div.3.

Narooma Ladies
On Monday, September 30, the Ladies played a Split 6, 3-2-1 Stableford Competition in teams of 3. The winners with 81 points were the team of Ann Durnan, Val Spooner and Heather McMillan. Runners up with 74 points were the team of Sylvia Donohoe, Di Wilkes and Tina Wilson. Balls went down to 70 points. A Par Competition over 2 Divisions was played by the Ladies on Wednesday, October 2. The Division 1 Winner was Sylvia Donohoe (2) with a score of +4 and Runner Up was Marion Brooks (22) with +2 ocb. The Division 2 Winner was Ann Durnan (43) with a score of +3 and Runner Up was Marg Brown (32) with +2.
