The family-friendly event is an opportunity to meet firefighters, get involved in kids activities, climb a fire truck, see firefighting displays and specialist equipment.
Brigades all over NSW will host events including Batemans Bay, Depot Beach, Surf Beach, Broulee, Bingie, Tuross Head, Bodalla, Nerrigundah, Dalmeny, Narooma and Central Tilba.
Batemans Bay's brigade will host a stall at the Clyde St foreshore, next to the Innes Boat Shed, Batemans Bay, from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, September 14.
Members of Dalmeny-Kianga RFS have invited residents to celebrate their Open Day as part of "Get Ready Weekend" at Mort Avenue fire station on Sunday, September 8 from 8am. There will be a free sausage sizzle.
