An SES spokesperson said while the tree wasn't blocking traffic when they responded., crews took preventative measures to stop that from occurring.
"We had to make sure it wouldn't block off any traffic," they said. "The tree had slid down the hill, and if it had gone any further, it would have blocked the lane.
"Our crews blocked a little bit of the road to contain it."
Moruya Fire and Rescue was also out and about on Saturday, responding to a fuel leak at the Caltex in Moruya.
A Fire and Rescue spokesperson said crews responded at 1.35pm.
"A customer had their fuel pump replaced recently, and had gone away on holiday," they said.
"The person had noticed a fuel smell in their car throughout, but didn't full up petrol until Saturday.
"The NRMA was called to fix the car, but the spill was large enough (six litres) that we were called to minimise the risk.
"The car was towed away to be repaired, and all fuel was cleaned up."
