The Monaro side had a mixed bag of results, the juniors holding their own against some of the best players in the state, while the open division players fell just short of the line.
Narooma's Makayla Morris, Summa Shears, and Elli Beecham all featured in the side, along with Bega's Jacinta Carr, Alanna Dummett, Calissa Badullovich, Bella Griffin, Jade Grant and Gemma Smith. Eden's Crysten Kennedy and Alexa Clowry were also on the team.
Monaro went down to their Greater Southern neighbours in the first game of the day, 20-0, but had a ripper in their second, victorious over the Western Rams.
Alanna Dummett scored three tries and Calissa Badullovich one in the 26-22 win.
Calissa also crossed in the Colts' 20-16 win over Riverina, as did Jacinta Carr.
Coach Lisa Griffin, from Bega, said the experience was "exceptional".
"Being a group side rather than a regional side [13 of the 15 were Group 16 players], I don't think many expected us to do as well as we did," she said.
"But they really came together as a team - they looked like a team and played well. Everyone had a heap of fun and it was a great experience all round."
Meanwhile, the Monaro Opens team featured Batemans Bay's Beth Christensen alongside three young Eden women and two from Bega - Ebony Pointon, Tamika Millard and Kiarna Mitchell from the Tigerettes and Bega's Jacinta Dummett and Madison Parbery.
While Tamika and Ebony scored tries in their first game, it wasn't enough to overcome the Greater Southern Stars, who won 30-10.
The pair backed up that performance with again a try each in their outing against Western. Kiarna Mitchell converted one, but the result slipped just out of reach with the Rams winning 12-10.
The Riverina Bulls also proved too strong for the women from the south-east, taking their game 30-4.
The successful Greater Southern side will now face the winners of the Northern pool in next weekend's grand finals at Wyong.
They will face the Greater Northern Tigers in under 16s and Central Coast Roosters in the open division.
