A 55-metre-long, 21-metre-wide and 3000-tonne barge sailed under the Batemans Bay Bridge on Friday, July 12.
As the sun rose, a crowd came to the bridge to watch the barge move between the pylons for about 15 minutes after 6.30am.
The barge will operate from and be anchored upstream of the Batemans Bay Bridge within an exclusion zone marked by yellow buoys.
The AMS 1803 will be used in the construction of the new Batemans Bay bridge over the Clyde River.
