Ten eager Batemans Bay BMX riders travelled to Maitland over the June long weekend to compete at the BMX NSW Pre Titles Carnival. There was Sprockets and Cruiser racing on Saturday and then all the 20" and Superclass action on Sunday.

Four Batemans Bay riders raced their way to finals:
Saturday: 5 Year Sprockets - Raph Cummins, 7 Year Sprockets - Jesse Clare, 11-12 Boys Cruiser - Shannon Batistic - 8th in finals.
Sunday: 8 Year Girls - Macey Fletcher - 3rd in finals, 9 Year Girls - Remi Cummins - 8th in finals, 9 Boys - Lachy Batistic - Semi Finals and Connor Newell - Motos, 10 Boys - Riley Newell - Semi Finals, 12 Boys - Shannon Batistic - Motos, 14 Boys - Sam Callaghan - Motos, 45-49 Men - Craig Clare - 2nd in finals.
Batemans Bay BMX Club will again be hosting a Sports Camps Australia BMX Holiday Program this July school holidays on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th with Elite BMX Coaches Gemma-Lee Thomas and Alex Cameron running the show. Batemans Bay BMX Club hold Training Wednesday's and Thursday's and hold Racing every other Saturday afternoon. Riders of all ages and abilities are always welcome to join Batemans Bay BMX Club.
