As a former Member of Federal Parliament, I grieve when people in the political process let themselves down.

I received a letterbox drop in mid-April titled "Budget Information", signed by Jenny McAllister, Senator for NSW (Labor).
Under a heading "Bill Shorten and Labor's Plan" it states: "Committing $2.8 billion to our Better Hospitals Fund, including building the Eurobodalla Hospital."
That hospital is a state responsibility and our state MP (Liberal) in his community newsletter of January 2019 noted: "Premier Berejiklian and I are committed to building a new regional hospital for the Eurobodalla and $150 million has been announced to start the project."
During the NSW election campaign, the state Labor Party said it would spend $200 million on the same hospital. Now federal Labor claims it will build it!
It would help those trying to decide who to vote for, for the truth to be told.
