Up to a million fish died in the Darling River at Menindee earlier this month, while another 10,000 died at Redbank Weir on the Murrumbidgee earlier this week.
The same big temperature variants that caused those fish kills could result in more in coming days, according to the NSW Department of Primary Industries.
