The Batemans Bay course provides beautiful water views for those taking part. And the good news? There are no hills along the way.

The volunteers are well organised and provide positive encouragement for people of every ability, from those taking their first steps in running, to walkers and those with plenty of track time.
Last Saturday more than 100 people participated. Patrick Miller of Canberra was first in a time of 17:43 minutes. Patrick’s first love is orienteering.
The first female home was Joanne Flood in 21:23 minutes.
There were 21 runners who produced PBs and Peter Counsell celebrated his 50th parkrun.
Congratulations to all who participated and thank you to the fabulous volunteers.
All runners and walkers are welcome to join us on the 5km course. We meet every Saturday morning at 7.50am for an 8am start.
You can register online at www.parkrun.com.au/batemans bay to obtain a barcode which you must bring along with you every week to get a recorded result. If you don’t bring your barcode you can’t track your progress. That’s where you will also find any other information you need to know as well as a comprehensive weekly list of results.
The venue is Rotary Park near the Marina roundabout in Batemans Bay.
