The society have been hard at work since Monday setting up stalls, stands, and pavilions for the hundreds expected to enjoy the event.
Administrative work has also begun, with multiple entries in various show categories being meticulously sorted to make sure everything runs smoothly at show time.
Gerri Richard, one of the longest serving members of the Eurobodalla Show Society, said the show has grown exponentially in her time involved.
“I’ve been officially involved for at least 15 years, but I’ve been coming for more than 30,” she said. “I can remember the first shows I came to, when everything was basically in the one pavilion.
“It’s spread right out now, and we probably need more space.”
The feel of the show has changed over the past few years, with a renewed focus on local agriculture.
“We used to try and get the motorcycles and big stars in to the show, but we tend to keep things in house now, and I think that’s working better,” Ms Richard said.
“We still want the kids to come in, so we want to keep plenty of fun things for them to do.”
Ms Richard said not only was the show a good time, but a great spectacle of the talented people in the Eurobodalla Shire.
“You get to see what people can do, which always blows me away,” she said. “The photography, the beautiful quilts they put, the knitting and everything else like that, you don’t realise how talented people are until its put on show.”
