Malua Bay Women
Last Tuesday was another great day for the 34 social bowlers and two teams in the final of Championship Fours.
The team of Kim Giannasca, Gay Biggs, Karen Signor and Pat Bill took a while to get going, but once they did there was no stopping them.
On the last end they were holding 3 shots when opposition Skip Jenny Blyth bowled her first bowl and cut them down to 1 shot, then made the decision not to bowl her second and last shot to make her team of Janet Mckay, Olga Geshwend and Bev Feehan the winners 19/18.
Well done to both teams. Thanks to umpire Carol Dutkiewicz and Yvonne Huddleston.
Winners on a drawn card were Gayl Vidgen, Helen Rees and Noleen Taylor.
