YOOFTube is a youth short film competition run by South East Arts, now in its sixth year, for ages 12-25 living or studying in the region.
"This year our young film-makers had to work their films around the word 'change’," said YOOFTube co-ordinator Kate Howarth.
"It was inspiring to see strong messages in some films about issues facing youth, like social anxiety, peer pressure, depression.
“Film-making is an excellent medium for storytelling, particularly for young people as it is now so readily accessible."
The Eurobodalla took home a swag of awards. Sam Wright, of Malua Bay, won Best Technical Achievement Award in the 16-20 yrs age group for ‘Pontoon patience’.
Chloe Bobbin, of Dalmeny, won Best Film in the 16-20 yrs age group for ‘Friends with the finch’.
Raine Atkinson and Kate Kavanagh won an Encouragement Award for Metamorphosis.
