At Saint Bernard’s Catholic Church, 2 David Avenue, Batehaven, Sunday 28 October at 3pm the South Coast Music Society concludes it’s 2018 programme of wonderful concerts with the Orava Quartet. The Quartet will bring its vitality to the classics of the string quartet repertoire, in Czech Fantasy, with Haydn’s ‘Lobkowitz’ quartet, dedicated to the Czech Duke of Roudnice, and compatriot composer, and Schulhoff’s five witty pieces for string quartet.
