The Moruya High School breakfast club meets before class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and everyone is welcome.
Student representative Stephanie Lunn said it was a great environment.
“It’s grown as people learn about it,” she said.
“We’ve made posters to advertise it and it goes in the morning notices.
“We’re really lucky to be sponsored by IGA and the Moruya Country Markets.”
School staff Jess Dwyer and Teresa Urlich independently came up with the idea, and the school principal suggested they work together to make it happen.
As Year 10 student Jai Cook said: “My friends are here – and there's food!”
