On Mondays we play 21 ends of mufti pairs, with nominated pairs every second Monday.
On Thursdays we play 21 ends of mufti triples, with nominated triples on the last Thursday of each month.
You may have the chance to win our jackpot which for both days currently stands at $500.
To win the jackpot on the day a lucky rink is drawn and the winning skip attempts to locate a hidden joker in a shuffled deck.
Social Bowls Results
The weather continues to be kind and on Monday 30th July we had thirty six bowlers play individual entry mufti pairs.
We were short one bowler to make up even sides so many thanks to Jeanette Pooley, one of our lady bowlers, who filled in with last minute notice.
Interestingly enough the winners were Jeanette Pooley and Adam Pooley with a margin of 23 shots.
The runners up were Jim Martin and Ron Beerley with a margin of 15 shots.
The winning skip from rink 13 was selected to attempt to win the jackpot draw.
Unfortunately Ron Beerley, one of or regular contenders in the jackpot draw did not find the joker. One again the $500 jackpot will carry over to next week.
On Thursday 2nd August we played mufti triples with one rink of pairs so the result was decided on ends won and margins.
The winners were Chris O’Brien, Sam Barbagallo, and Greg Megee with 17 ends and a margin of 7 shots. Runners up were Peter Harris, Bob Starkovski, and Steve Hall with 15 ends and a margin of 13.
The jackpot draw went to Steve Hall who was the winning skip on rink 13, but the joker remains elusive, so best of luck to next week’s lucky rink.
